Our Vegan Bake off in support of Clean Air Day is kicking off with week 1 of our mission. Let’s come together to bake delicious plant-based treats and raise awareness about the importance of clean air for our health and the environment.
Cows and other animals that are produced for food indeed emit CO2 emissions. This is primarily due to the digestion process in these animals, which releases methane, a potent greenhouse gas. Additionally, the transportation and processing of animal products also contribute to the overall carbon footprint of the livestock industry. It is essential to consider these emissions when evaluating the environmental impact of animal agriculture and to explore sustainable practices to reduce them.
