Refer a Customer/Friend Scheme Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions (“Referral Terms”) apply to anyone referring a customer/friend or relative as a potential customer to Crystal EV Charging, resulting in a completed EV Box installation, which has been fully invoiced and paid.
By submitting a code to participate in the Refer a Customer/Friend Scheme you are taken to have agreed to be bound by the following conditions. We reserve the right to withdraw or alter conditions at any time should situations arise out of our control.
1. Definitions
“Referrer”, “you” or “your” means a eligible person who gives their Code/Referral Link;
“Referred Customer/Friend” means an eligible customer/friend or relative known to the Referrer who receives/received the Code/Referral Link from the Referrer;
“Code/Referral Link” means a code provided to the Referrer to be shared with a Referred Customer/Friend;
“Referral Reward” means a £25 cash reward paid directly to the Referrer, subject to a successful installation and payment of the “Referred Customer/Friend” invoice in full.
“Successful Referral” refers to the completion of the process where both the referrer has received their £25 reward and the Referred Customer has received their £25 discount off their installation.
2. Referrer
2.1 A Referrer must be an individual person who is above the age of 18 and resident in the UK.
2.2 A Referrer must not be a current or former employee of Crystal EV Charging/Crystal Electronics.
2.3 We reserve the right to verify the identity of the Referrers and may require proof of eligibility.
2.4 You may not refer yourself under this Refer a Customer/Friend Scheme.
2.6 For you to be eligible for a Referral Reward following a Successful Referral:
2.6.1 You must meet the eligibility criteria set out in this clause 2.
2.6.2 The referred friend must meet the eligibility criteria set out in clause 3.
2.6.3 The referred friend must use the code/link supplied to them by the referrer when contacting Crystal EV Charging.
2.7 You will not be eligible for a Referral Reward in the event of that:
2.7.1 The referred friend/customer does not use the referral code/link at point of contact with Crystal EV Charging.
2.7.2 The referred friend/customer does not use the correct referral link/code at point of contact with Crystal EV Charging.
2.7.3 The referred friend/customer does not identify you as the Referrer when making initial contact with Crystal EV Charging.
3. Referred Friend/Customer
3.1 A Referred Friend/Customer is an individual person above the age of 18 who is eligible to work
and live in the UK.
3.2 They will not be eligible for the discount of £25 on the installation if the correct referral link is
not used during the initial contact with Crystal EV Charging.
3.3 They must specify the Referrers name on initial contact with Crystal EV Charging to receive the
£25 discount on the price of the installation of their charging box.
4 Referral Process
4.1 To participate in this scheme you must follow the instructions as detailed below.
4.2 You will be issued a referral code which is individual to you and you must use this for any
referrals made to Crystal EV Charging.
4.3 On the Referred Friend/Customer contacting Crystal EV Charging your code will be entered onto
our database, along with all the information regarding installation.
4.4 Subject to the installation being fully completed and paid for you will be sent your rewards on a
monthly basis.
4.5 These terms are subject to change with not notice at Crystal EV Charging discretion.
5. Referral Reward
5.1 You will only qualify for the referral reward after full payment is received and the terms and
conditions have been met as set out in this document.
5.2 We will monitor compliance with the scheme. You will not be eligible for the Referral Reward in
the event that:
5.2.1 In our reasonable opinion any of the eligibility criteria in these Referral Terms is not met or you have breached any of these Referral Terms;
5.2.2 We have reasonable grounds to suspect fraud, abuse or misuse of the scheme and/or any other error affecting the proper operation of the Refer a Customer/Friend Scheme;
5.2.3 Installation and full payment is not made within 2 months of original contact.
5.2.4 The Referral Reward is not transferable and no alternative will be offered in place of the Referral Reward. We reserve the right in our absolute discretion to substitute a reward of equivalent or greater value if this is necessary for reasons beyond our control.
6. General
6.1 This reward scheme is valid until the date:
6.2 Crystal EV Charging/Crystal Electronics reserve the right to change or cancel the conditions
without notice.
6.3 Any information supplied by you or by the Referred Friend/Customer will be personal and not
shared with any third parties.
6.4 In the event of any dispute in connection with any Referral Reward, our decision will be final.
6.5 By participating in the scheme as set out in this document you accept and acknowledge the
Terms and Conditions.
6.6 These Referral Terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties submit
to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless you are resident in Scotland
in which case you or us can bring a claim in the courts of Scotland or if you are a resident in Northern
Ireland, you or us can bring a claim in the courts of Northern Ireland.
